Aluminum Mounting is a technique of surface mounting with an archival full
coverage adhesive bond directly to the surface of aluminum. This presentation
guarantees the smoothest and flattest surface for presentation. The photograph
is then overcoated with a stable polyester laminant to protect against harmful
UV rays therefore adding to the archival characteristics of this process. Upon
mounting and for final display a french cleat system is welded to the back to
relief the aluminum/print from the wall. This form of floating allows for a
seamless float for a very contemporary presentation with no border, frame and
or matt required.
